Glenn Martin / Glenn N Martin Ltd

Founder of Martin Jetpack

Glenn Martin is a Kiwi inventor who took his dreams to the skies. His creation, Martin Jetpack is the world’s first practical jetpack, built to fly longer, higher and carry more weight.

Glenn’s journey has baffled and intrigued engineers, scientists, and aviation experts across the world. He’s earned a host of awards and recognition, including – Winner, Time’s Top 50 Inventions (2010) and Most Inspiring Individual, NZ Innovator Awards (2015).

Glenn now devotes his time mentoring the next generation of dreamers and entrepreneurs. We’re delighted to have him speak at The Biz Hamilton.


Vaughn Davis / The Goat Farm

Owner & Creative Director

Vaughn is the owner and creative director of advertising and social media business, The Goat Farm. He has a particular passion for using social media to help businesses connect with people. In 2010, he wrote New Zealand’s first book on social media, Tweet this Book, which has so far had over 25,000 readers worldwide. He also hosts Sunday Social, a weekly programme on Radio Live that talks about social media, apps and the internet.

Marketing Manager

Hatch is a company of digital gurus who put people first. Their aim is to guide New Zealand business owners toward a digitally led future through a mix of automation, web design and app development. Focusing on the human connection is central to Ed and the team’s work at Hatch. They don’t believe in quick fixes or following fads.

Ed is also the President of the Auckland Young Professionals, the Founder of the NZ Young Professionals Podcast, and an active member of the Institute of Directors.


David Roberts / Yellow

Director of Sales

David has a solid background in sales, digital marketing and IT. He spent 7 years in London and has worked throughout Europe in senior technology roles. From sales management to marketing and developing new markets and products, David’s been there, and he’s done that.

Before taking on his role at Yellow, David was General Manager of Marketing Alliances, and then Chief Marketing Officer at Fronde.


James Boult / Yellow

Marketing Manager Digital Acquisition

James has polished his passion for media and marketing, having worked with leading global brands such as Cadbury, V Energy and Mountain Dew. He is strategic and creative, and draws inspiration from many years of digital product development as he leads Yellow’s Digital Acquisition and Search Marketing teams.

James loves helping Kiwi businesses bring their vision to life, and to tell their stories in ways they’ve never thought of before.
